Kentucky has added Junior College defensive end Marquez Bembry to it’s 2019 haul. Bembry was committed to Tennessee out of high school and also touted offers from Georgia, Louisville, Florida and Mississippi State. The 235 pound prospect definitely has the look of an SEC caliber player. He’s projected to play the “Jack” position for the ‘Cats, the spot Denzel Ware played last season.
Despite his big frame, Bembry has wheels. He ran a 10.68 for the 100m during his high school track days. He suffered a knee injury in his last year of high school. Transferring from JuCo, Bembry will have 3 years to play 3 seasons starting in 2019.
